No. The only way to treat water with Rock-medicine is to affect water in nature.

The reason I asked is because I saw a website selling a bag of rocks meant to purify water. I would worry about some not so healthy stuff being leached into the water.

The way that rock medicine treats water is mostly in the body of a living creatuire as applied for detoxification of their total water content. Their organs and intestines eliminate the toxins. You must have a way for the toxins to exit a body, even a body of water. In order to treat tap water it would have to be treated at its reservior source. An application would entail a very specific apparatus, either a 'focus direct' or 'blanket spread'. Both of these methods are for distance applications for purification. They are built with quartz crystal as the generator.(Anyone can build one.) The reason you cannot just put stones into water to purify it, is because as soon as the stone is submerged in the water, it is toxic from the water and can't help. If you use a distance grid then the stones stay free from contact with the toxic body you are trying to treat for the 2-3 months it would take to get easily measurable improvement in the chemical quality of the water. A focus direct can be feet away, where a blanket spread can be miles away, from the water and be effective.
